We have an opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Leicester Employment team.

We act for a range of household names, large corporates, SMEs and owner managed businesses. Successful candidates should be committed to developing existing and new client relationships and being involved in departmental and firm-wide marketing initiatives, with a view to increasing their profile and that of the department and firm.

Legal Skills

In depth knowledge of the full range of employment matters is required. Experience with TUPE, discrimination, employment tribunal cases, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants and general advice is essential.

Client Relationships

• Superb client relationship skills - ability to exceed client expectations.

• Proactive & commercial approach

• Providing clients with solutions

Business Development

• Use own existing network to generate new work

• Be involved in departmental and firm-wide initiatives to win new work

• Maintain and build on links with other departments of the firm and existing clients and referrers

Key Academic and Attributes

• Ambitious and wishing to advance your career

• Strong academics

• PQE 3 - 6

• Proactive & enthusiastic
