Employment Solicitor – Protective Awards and Private

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Home based

We’re looking for an experience Employment Solicitor/Manager to join our growing Protective Awards and Private team!

You will be managing a Solicitor and a wider team of paralegals within the protective awards area as well as working with key stakeholders within the business to continue to help maximise commercial opportunities.

This position is unique - you can be based in any one of our cities, including Manchester, Liverpool, London and more! See a full list of our office locations on our website. Along with the flexibility with location, we also provide great flexibility with hours. If you’re an early bird and prefer to start work earlier and finish earlier, then you can make the most of that!

What work will you be doing?

* Running claims involving large class action / protective awards
* Providing employment law advice and assistance
* Providing support and assistant to those reporting into you
* Conducting all necessary management tasks including transactional monitoring, file reviews, quarterly performance reviews with each team member
* Working with key stakeholders to develop operational processes to continue to help maximise commercial KPIs
* Negotiating and completing Settlement Agreements
* Providing advice and assistance to claimants on unfair dismissal claims
* Driving colleagues to succeed by achieving internal KPIs.

What sort of person are we looking for?

You will have a commercial approach to the delivery of employment law and be extremely self-motivated to be able to lead your team in a pro-active manner. Experience of managing a team is vital as well as some experience of business development as you will have heavy involvement with the marketing team to help champion this.

Ideally you will be a qualified solicitor with 5 years PQE experience in employment law, however we understand that qualifications aren’t everything! If you have the equivalent experience and a track record of managing people, we’d love to hear from you too.
