JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor 12 month fixed term contract
PQE: 4-6 years
LOCATION: Cardiff
SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000

THE ROLE: Our Legal 500 ranked client are currently seeking an Employment Solicitor to cover a period of maternity on a 12 month basis. As the appointed candidate you will manage a full employment caseload and advise clients on all aspects of employment issues, including but not limited to:

• Employment Disputes
• TUPE
• Employment Support For Corporate Transactions
• Disciplinary Procedures
• Capability Procedures
• Sickness Absence

In addition you will manage both Claimant and Respondent Employment Tribunal matters. In this you will have the ability to provide top class service to clients and offer specialist advice to the highest standards. This role is due to commence in January 2021 for a 12 month period and upon application you should be confident you can commit to the desired start date and length of contract.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful Employment Solicitor will have gained a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience and will have a solid background working within an Employment role. Your background will show experience in managing an Employment caseload and covering both claimant and respondent work. Desired experience includes sound knowledge and evidence of putting into practice Employment Tribunal advocacy such as attendance at preliminary hearings.
THE FIRM: You will be joining a highly regarded multi service/office firm. Our client is forward thinking and open to the idea of flexible working however, it is mandatory to live somewhat locally to allow for meetings with clients and colleagues.
