The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lawyer to join our team of dedicated professionals in our Cardiff or Bristol office, to run a varied caseload of litigated and non-litigated Employment Rights cases. You will have the opportunity to manage employment advice and/or representation matters, such as, unfair dismissal, wages and discrimination claims.
With a passion for blending your technical expertise with your outstanding communication and client care skills, you will take pride in delivering a first class service to our clients. Having the confidence and ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure swift progression will be key to your success. To ensure you thrive in the role, we will provide you with structured supervision, coaching and training as well as a nurturing environment, where you can grow and shape your career.
The role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience conducting and managing Employment Rights cases. As an admitted solicitor/legal executive, you will be assessing and advising on the prospects of success and value of Employment Tribunal claims. You will therefore need to have excellent knowledge of Employment Tribunal rules of procedure and the litigation process. The role requires excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail to enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for our clients. You will need to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
