Employment Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a multi-office, Lexcel accredited law firm who pride themselves on providing an exceptional service to clients.

This is a full-time position however part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

You will be comfortable in managing a mixed employment caseload autonomously, although you will be supported by a Director and will also have access to full secretarial support.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have experience in advising both employers and employees in employment disputes including representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and drafting employment contracts for employers. You will pick up on an existing busy caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and the role will therefore not be suitable for a newly qualified lawyer.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years PQE is preferential
  • Proven experience in managing a full employment caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Competitive annual leave entitlement
  • Pension
  • Death in service
  • Ongoing training
  • Part-time hours will be considered
