Salary: £28,000 to £32,000

Contract: Full time, Permanent

The Company

My client is one of the nation's leading law firms specialising in legal advice and representation for businesses, professionals and individuals. Their employment client base is national, with a mixture of claimant and respondent employment work. Their claimant work is usually for regulated professionals, such as doctors, solicitors and teachers. A fantastic opportunity has arisen in their head office based in Nottingham for a confident and ambitious Employment Lawyer to develop their career and skills further. My client is a dynamic firm with supportive colleagues who mentor more junior team members and help them develop their potential.

The Role

The candidate will have the opportunity of handling their own caseload, as well as assisting the Partner on complex high-profile matters. The role would suit an NQ-5 years or a solicitor with a couple of PQE. The role includes an opportunity to be trained in advocacy work at employment tribunals.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

* Must be NQ-5 years or a solicitor with a couple of PQE
* Candidates must have experience of claimant and respondent matters, although training can be given for the right candidate with a genuine passion for employment law.
* Excellent communication skills
* Good organisational and time management skills, able to manage a varied workload and work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Personal attributes:

My client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and a positive team player, able to quickly build and maintain rapport with the team and clients.

Benefits include:

Competitive salary based on experience and company benefits
