We're looking for an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our busy Wakefield team, handling a varied and quality caseload of claimant employment law matters.
About the Role
The successful applicant will manage a caseload of claimant Employment Law matters and be responsible for progressing the cases through to settlement. This is a Grade B role .The main responsibilities include:
Our Personal Legal Services department is an area of significant investment and growth at Minster Law, we have an excellent source of work that provides varied and high quality cases for our Employment team. Working with respected household names the Employment team provide the legal service for the Family Legal Protection policies sold to their customers, which is around250,000 policies annually.

You'll be a qualified solicitor or Fellow of CILEx (or approaching qualification prior during 2019) , with previous experience managing a caseload of claimant Employment Law matters you'll have the technical ability to work with limited supervision. You will be an experienced litigator and practical knowledge of the court/ tribunal procedures. Experience of property and consumer matters would be an advantage, but is not essential.
To succeed in this role you will have a customer centric approach to your work and be committed to achieving the right outcome for each of our clients. You'll be passionate about working in employment and be looking to continue to develop your career in this area.
