We are a top 100 London-based law firm with around 200 highly regarded specialist solicitors and lawyers based across offices in Kingston, Putney and Bedford Row. We advise a mix of commercial, not-for-profit, regulatory and personal clients. We are expanding our Education Law practice to include an additional experienced solicitor who will join our highly regarded Chambers and Legal 500 ranked Children and Education team.

Our core education law work includes special educational needs, Equality Act claims, admissions, exclusions and complaints for individuals.

You will be responsible for your own varied caseload, offering excellent client service on a mixture of cases involving all aspects of education law. You will also have the opportunity of working on cases with other departments across the firm.

Qualifications & Experience

  • UK qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives. Foreign qualified lawyers should be in the process of undertaking the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT)

  • Applicants should be able to demonstrate skills commensurate with a solicitor with experience in running an education case load

The successful candidate is likely to have had broad experience and is ambitious, can demonstrate initiative, passion, business development acumen and be a real team player. You can expect a broad range of work in a supportive environment.
