DOCUMENT AUTOMATION ENGINEER/ASSISTANT KNOWLEDGE ENGINEER –
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Document Automation Engineer or Assistant Knowledge Engineer to join our Central Knowledge team. The working hours will be 9.30am-5.30pm and flexibility will be required. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and deliver presentations/training to groups of people; able to prioritise conflicting demands; and will be a creative thinker with the ability to understand complex design briefs from an end user.
Automating documents forms a significant part of the workload of the Knowledge Engineering team. However the team are also involved in process mapping, creating workflows, implementing on-line instruction systems and data extraction projects. There will be a strong emphasis on development of operational processes, procedures and documentation. Increasingly the team are involved in client facing projects involving direct communications with clients alongside the work for our internal clients.
We would anticipate quick progression from Document Automation Engineer to Assistant Knowledge Engineer. There are clear opportunities for personal development and the flexibility for individuals to take responsibility (with support) for their own career path whether that be project management (of automation workflow and client bespoke projects), IT technical development, supervision and management opportunities and developing presenting and training skills.
Our salary banding for this role is £22-28,500 a year depending on experience and role.
The Candidate Required
· Highly proficient in the use of IT with an interest in developing their skills further;
· Good knowledge of the current challenges facing the legal market;
· Strong business and commercial acumen and exemplary customer service skills;
· Graduate level e.g. a Law degree and/or qualifications in information systems, computer science, maths or similar disciplines;
· Experience of working in a law firm is desirable;
· Previous of document assembly software and a basic knowledge of HTML are desirable;
· Fluency in languages spoken in any of our international offices is desirable.
