This is a new opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join this national firm who are rated by L500 and Chambers as the leading provider of legal services to the healthcare sector.

With a minimum of 2 years' PQE, you will join this expanding clinical negligence department. You will have defendant clinical negligence experience, preferably gained at a NHS Resolution Panel firm, as the role will involve managing a caseload of claims on instructions from NHS Resolution. You must have experience of handling and advising on cases involving complex issues and maximum severity injuries. Experience of managing claims against GPs is an advantage but not essential.

You will work closely with a partner and also get involved in business development. There are also opportunities for suitable candidates to supervise more junior fee earners.

In addition to clinical negligence, the department carries out a wide range of other work which includes inquests, advising on regulatory matters, public law issues, judicial reviews, mental health issues and clinical risk management.
