Data Protection Lawyer, London - An experienced Data Protection Solicitor is sought to advice on GDPR and general data protection matters.
JOB TITLE: Data Protection
PQE REQUIRED: 5+ years
This evolving role will see you take a wide range of responsibilities. Initially overseeing the implementation of the new General Data Protection Regulation you will be key to ensuring the organisation is in compliance with this regulation for all past and future files. In addition to this role you will provide wider advice in relation to the Data Protection Act 1998, manage all requests for ICO and carrying out Board, CAP and staff training. This role offers the opportunity to then diversify into a broader legal counsel role within the regulatory sphere.
THE DATA PROTECTION LAWYER:
To be considered for the role you must be a qualified Solicitor, and will be admitted to the roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. Having held a data protection role for a minimum of 5 years experience either in-house or with a highly regarded firm. You will have an understanding of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with the commitment to develop an in depth knowledge of the implications of the regulation. Previous experience in dispute resolution or regulatory law would be advantageous.
