Costs Negotiator - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced costs negotiator to build a successful career within this leading personal injury practice. The Costs Team handles a varied caseload of personal injury related matters and offers the chance for an aspiring costs negotiator to cut their teeth on a broad spectrum of work including high value clinical negligence and social care-related costs work.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
  • Reports to: Costs Team Leader
  • Previous Experience: Around two years or more of experience as a costs negotiator, handling own caseload preferably from a defendant insurance litigation background, though costs negotiators who have gained experience from a claimant personal injury background will also be considered. Advocacy experience would be beneficial, though is not an absolute pre-requisite.

The job opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of insurance practice and therefore the increased work-flow through the Costs Team. Therefore, the Costs Department is now looking for a talented Costs Negotiator to help strengthen the department.

Ideally, applicants should demonstrate previous experience in defendant costs. That said, our client also welcomes CVs from those with claimant personal injury background. It is worth noting that the firm has already attracted a number of claimant costs negotiators who have already made the successful transition from claimant to defendant costs.
