Based in Shropshire and with offices located across the UK, this well known law firm is now recruiting for a costs lawyer (draftsperson) to join their outstanding costs department on a permanent, full time basis.

You will work alongside a team of experienced lawyers with strong expertise in a range of personal injury and clinical negligence claims. Your key duties in this costs lawyer (draftsperson) position will include but will not be limited to:
  • Preparing your own bills
  • Following the costs process through detailed assessment
  • Supervising and developing the costs team
  • Ensuring a consistent costs strategy is implemented throughout the firm
  • Monitoring and managing a panel of external costs lawyers
In order to be considered for this costs lawyer (draftsperson) vacancy in Shropshire, you must have at least eight years experience working within costs (preferably with experience in personal injury and clinical negligence), have demonstrable experience leading a costs team and experience drafting bills of costs budgets along with costs negotiation experience.
