An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 2-6 years’ PQE solicitor to join a fast-paced and fast-growing corporate team which is currently ranked the highest legal adviser by volume in the Experian M&A Review for the region. The team has just been named the most active Yorkshire legal adviser for Q3.
The team deals with a wide variety of work including a full range of M&A, private equity investments, buyouts, joint ventures, partnership matters, reorganisations and acquisition finance work.
Responsibilities include:
* Depending upon your level, you will have your own caseload and client contact
* Working closely with and assisting partners on high value matters and leading on smaller deals
* Working with a broad client base of OMBs, SMEs and PLCs
* Focus on business development and building own contacts, client base and skills
* Working closely with a number of other teams within the firm

Experience required:
* You will be a corporate solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE experience, ideally with a national firm or recognised regional commercial practice
* Strong academics
* You should have a strong technical knowledge and be commercially astute
* Experience of taking responsibility for your own matters
* High degree of commercial thinking
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
* Ability to work calmly under pressure
* Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contacts, and internal colleagues
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
* High degree of motivation
Other information:
This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, with one hour for lunch
