Kennedys is looking to recruit a Corporate Affairs Lawyer to join their Public Affairs team in the London office.

The primary purpose of the Corporate Affairs Lawyer is to support Kennedys in meeting the goal to lead in providing provoking thought leadership and public affairs initiatives to the firm’s market and insurance clients. This includes examining the impact of legal and political shifts on the international insurance environment and the steps relevant stakeholders need to take to protect the sector’s future.

Some main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Thought leadership: Working with the business to design and implement communications and insight-led strategies that realise the firm’s commercial ambitions and strategic message development. This will include client outreach opportunities, stakeholder engagement and lobbying collateral, as well as associated media relations (both traditional and social media).  
  • Content creation and distribution: Assisting partners and lawyers on creating engaging content that demonstrates Kennedys’ thinking and expertise. You will develop key messages arising from industry and legislative issues for use in a range of communications, including articles, reports, White Papers and consultation responses.
  • Message development: Managing message development to a wide range of audiences (UK and non-UK), including firm’s clients and prospects, media, regulatory and industry bodies, policy-makers and government institutions.
