Our Client has gathered together the finest team of lawyers to help with all legal needs and are experts in their fields. They are currently seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Felixstowe.
This role will involve working with the Residential Property team.
Role Responsibilities:
The day-to-day responsibilities might include:
* Communicating with clients to receive instructions and give advice.
* Researching details about the property being bought or sold, such as finding out who is the legal owner.
* Drafting official documents, such as contracts which include details of the sale.
* Checking contracts on behalf of your clients.
* Working with estate agents and solicitors.
* Keeping official records of payments and contracts.
* Working with Land Registry documents and title deeds.
* Carrying out checks prior to drafting contracts to see if there are any structural issues with the property.
* Dealing with the transfer of mortgage deeds.
* Prepare completion statements and raise invoices
Essential Skills & Requirements:
* The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience within Conveyancing. You should be able to prepare completion statements and raise invoices.
* Experienced with the full transaction process from inception through to completion
