Role – Senior Conveyancer / Manager – Solicitor / Legal Executive or CLC Qualified

Location: - Northampton – (Rugby)

Salary – £32K - £40K – Neg.

Our Client is a growing Residential Conveyancing Firm in Northampton with associate offices in Peterborough, Manchester and London. Due to their continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Manager, initially in Northampton and then to help to develop a Rugby office. Working in a busy Conveyancing environment - this is an organisation providing a much more personalised working environment – while still offering excellent career opportunities.

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced individual to handle a residential property caseload from instruction through to completion as well as develop / / mentoring junior staff and building relationships with potential Clients and Business Partners.

Duties and responsibilities include: -

·         Receiving instructions and providing legal advice to clients on purchase, sales and re-mortgage matters

·         ID requirements, source of funds, gift deposits

·         Issuing contracts

·         Mortgage redemptions

·         Exchange of contracts

·         Ordering and reporting on searches

·         Checking and reporting of titles

·         Checking and reporting on mortgages

·         Registering land

·         Dealing with completion process

·         Scheduling and archiving

·         Managing, developing and mentoring more junior staff

·         Managing and developing relations with developers and site managers

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and motivated to support the firm’s expansion plans.  Candidates will be expected to be able to 'hit the ground running’ and integrate themselves quickly in a busy Conveyancing department. Previous experience checking and reporting on titles is desirable and new build experience would be preferable, but not essential. This role would suit Qualified applicants such as Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives. .
