Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a permanent Contracts Solicitor to join the supportive and sociable Commercial Legal Team at the London Borough of Lewisham. Our client is seeking a qualified Solicitor who has experience in Contracts Law and will consider candidates at all PQE levels. The role can be worked on a hybrid working basis, and the desired candidate will be expected to attend the office in Catford twice a week.

The main duties of the successful Contracts Solicitor will include:

• Handling a wide variety of contracts and commercial work
• Deputising for the Senior Contracts Lawyer when appropriate
• Providing advice on procurement and tender documentation
• Undertaking a varied and complex caseload of contracts and procurement advice, drafting contract documentation, negotiating, providing advice on insolvency, insurance and intellectual property as required
• Preparing all legal documentation relevant to caseload including complex or specialised agreements
• Carry out legal research
• Act as legal advisor to all relevant departments
