We are assisting a reputable and forward-thinking local authority in London in their search for a locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their high-performing team. This is a very sought-after organisation to work for and they don't often have openings available, so don't miss out on this opportunity to join them!
Due to versatility in the team and varied workload, our client can consider Contracts and Procurement Lawyers ranging from 2 years' PQE to highly experienced Lawyers. You must be a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, CILEx) and have prior experience of working in local or central government, and therefore good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations.
Your workload will be tailored to your level of experience, ensuring good fit and maximum job satisfaction. The team deals with a range of contracts and procurement matters, ranging from routine agreements to complex, high value and politically sensitive projects. An interesting and varied workload is guaranteed no matter your PQE.
Repsonsibilities of the locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer:
The team work predominantly remotely, with office attendance one day per month. The client will consider fully remote applicants but would prefer to take on someone who can participate in the monthly team day in the office. The locum contract will be for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential to extend. Full-time hours are preferred for this role but part-time applicants will also be considered.
