My client is a highly-regarded Legal 500 practice which has continued to expand through implementing a clear plan to stay ahead of its competitors and adapt to changes within the legal market.
With an excellent reputation for providing advice to leading commercial businesses and private clients, the next stage of expansion is earmarked to be the recruitment of an ambitious contentious probate specialist who will be effectively heading up this practice area within the firm, sitting as part of the wider private client team.
You will be advising both individuals and charities on a variety of disputes relating to wills, estates, trust administration and professional negligence. Naturally you will have the ability to communicate with clients with empathy but you can combine this with good commercial acumen and a drive to develop this area of practice across the firm, albeit there is already a flow of enquiries from existing clients and new referrals.
Due to the requirement to work unsupervised it is likely that you will have accrued at least 5yrs PQE or equivalent, although candidates at all levels of qualification will be considered. Specific contentious probate experience will be required whilst ACTAPS qualifications will be beneficial; STEP qualifications may also be advantageous.
Remuneration is highly competitive although it is the opportunity itself which is most likely to attract the best talent available.
