Construction Solicitor - Non-Contentious
QED Legal is working with a major international top tier full service commercial law firm which continues to enjoy an increase in instructions and so now wishes to appoint an additional Construction Solicitor to its highly thought of Construction Team and be based at the firms' modern Birmingham city centre office.
The practice has a global network of offices and employs in excess of 10,000 people, offering the full remit of legal services to international companies, Plc's, blue chip organisations and transnational financial institutions as well as a variety of government departmental bodies.
The Construction Team in Birmingham has a reputation for being at the forefront of the sector and predominantly deals with large scale projects and managing a risk avoidance. The teams' client base comprises acting for governments, pubic bodies, international contractors and multi-national and major national organisations.
The team is now keen to hear from an experienced construction solicitor with anything from 2 years' PQE right through to around the 8 years' PQE. You will join at Associate or Senior Associate level and have conduct of a varied caseload of quality matters from the outset and work alongside partners who are well known in the sector for their expertise. You will have a strong academic background and will ideally have gained experience of dealing with non-contentious construction matters at a Top 50 law firm.
This is a rare opportunity to join a global leader and be exposed to the very best construction, energy and infrastructure work in the market on behalf of a stellar client list whilst working alongside some of the most prominent and experienced lawyers currently in practice.
A competitive salary and benefits package is naturally on offer given the firms standing in the market but what sets this role apart from others is the abundance of progression and development opportunities on offer, especially as you will be actively encouraged to take advantage of the firms' transparent talent development path to progress with the firm. You will also benefit from a good deal of client exposure, especially when you undertake training seminars and presentations at clients' offices.
