Construction solicitor required to join this highly regarded leading Essex Legal 500 firm.
The role will involve dealing with construction dispute work, and you will be undertaking all forms of dispute resolution to include arbitration, adjudications, mediation and litigation along with international arbitration. The role will encompass drafting advice on all aspects of construction contracts including extensions of time, defects, payments loss and expense and insurance issues.
The department also undertakes non-contentious construction work, including advising and reviewing upon standard form contracts, negotiating and drafting standard form contracts for specific projects and reviewing and drafting contractor and sub-contractor terms and conditions.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Construction Partner acting for clients ranging from family run construction companies to larger sized construction contractors and sub-contractors.
You may be looking to build upon your construction experience gained to date or have a commercial litigation background and be looking to move across and focus on construction law.
