Compliance Officer

Compliance Officer - North West

BCL Legal is working with an innovative and collaborative regional firm, recruiting a Compliance Officer to join its team. The role can be full or part time and can be based at any of its North West offices.

This role will report in to the COLP and MLRO and is responsible for managing and overseeing the firm's compliance programs, ensuring that all practices and procedures align with legal and regulatory standards.

The role is varied and will include -

Compliance Monitoring & Risk Assessment, Regulatory Compliance, Policy Development & Training, Reporting & Documentation, Advisory and Incident Management.

Previous experience as a Compliance Officer is essential for this role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, including anti-money laundering (AML), data protection laws, and legal ethics is preferred but not necessary.
