Getting tired of the rigmarole of private practice, but not ready to give up on corporate commercial law yet?

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced corporate fee-earner to move into a challenging in-house position.

My client is a well-established and highly-regarded accountancy practice which enjoys an excellent reputation within the Shropshire area and offers a broad range of services to businesses in the local marketplace and beyond.

One of its most sought-after services is its company secretarial offering, and the practice is now looking to recruit an experienced fee-earner into this team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

It is anticipated that you will have worked within the corporate law and/or company secretarial sector previously and will be comfortable handling a matters relating to the successful running of businesses, with responsibilities including the updating of information at Companies House, issuing and creation of share certificates, share transfers, preparation of board minutes, dissolutions, share restructuring and group reorganisations. The matters dealt with tend to be non-complex, as the more technically difficult issues are referred to external legal advisors, but you will nonetheless have access to high quality work on a regular basis.

The firm is open to flexible working arrangements, and after an initial ‘bedding in’ period the practice is happy for the successful applicant to work from home for part or most of the time, thus candidates from across the West Midlands, Cheshire or Greater Manchester area with the required experience but who are not looking to commute on a regular basis may still be interested.

The position offers a highly competitive remuneration package for the successful applicant, who must have some previous experience in a paralegal capacity in a similar position, either in a law firm or other professional services practice which handles this sort of work.

To discuss this position in more detail call Greg Reid at Price Richardson or forward your CV in absolute confidence, either directly via the Price Richardson website or using the ‘apply’ link.

Price Richardson is a leading provider of retained search and recruitment services exclusively to the legal profession. Working primarily on senior level and partner hires, our experience at the top end of the market sets us apart as a recruiter of choice for top tier firms across the UK.

Price Richardson is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.

Where PQE is referred to this should be taken as indicative only and does not preclude applicants with other levels of experience who can display the necessary skill-set and supervisory requirements from being considered.
