The company:

My client is a long standing presence in Commercial and Domestic Property Law and has considerable experience in dealing with all residential and commercial property transactions and disputes.
They are at the forefront of their market when it comes to dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and equity release. The offer advice and guidance relating to commercial leases, residential leases and landlord and tenant matters.
They are a proud member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, a quality standard for residential conveyancing, recognised by The Law Society.

The Role:

You will advise on a range of matters for an impressive portfolio of clients as well as assisting the key partners in the practice.
Your work will range from acquisitions and disposals, lease and licence negotiations as well as supporting the corporate team.
You will be processing SDLT transactions and Land Searches and you will be liaising with clients and outside agencies via all mediums of communication.
A certain degree of Residential Property and Agricultural Law experience will also be required for you to execute this role successfully. It is a standard that you will be fully proficient in IT.

Essential Requirements:

You will already be a Commercial Property Solicitor, with 3-5 years' experience. It is desirable that you will also have a minimum of 1 years' experience in working in Residential Property and Agricultural Law.
My client would also welcome, applicants who have matrimonial experience, although this is not a deal-breaker.

Key Skills:

You will have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, complete knowledge of the conveyancing process, a tactful manner when liaising with your clients, you will be proactive and have a ‘can do' attitude.
You will be fully proficient in using a case management system and you will be approachable, empathetic and you will be a strong team player, supporting your colleagues in the day to day running of the business.
