My client is a unique heavyweight commercial firm which offers its clients a full range of professional legal advice, and which has quickly seen it ear-marked as one of the most entrepreneurial outfits in the market place. With an enviable client base including a variety of FTSE-listed companies, household names and blue-chips across numerous market sectors, the firm handles high quality work on a regular basis and is looking to hire a talented commercial lawyer to bolster this team.
You will be drafting and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements to include, inter alia, shareholder and partnership agreements, terms and conditions, agency agreements, supply agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing and franchising matters.
Due to the structure of the team it is likely that the successful recruit will have accrued circa NQ-2yrs PQE within a leading commercial firm, although the firm will also consider a more senior lawyer of circa 5-7yrs PQE. Candidates should be able to offer both strong technical knowledge but a client-oriented approach, ensuring that contracts reflect and further the business interests of the clients.
You will have the opportunity to work on high quality matters from Day One, as well as clear scope for career progression for top performers as the firm prides itself on being a genuine meritocracy. Remuneration is at the top end of the market and is designed to attract the best talent available.
