JOB TITLE: Commercial Contracts Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2 years+ PQE
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: Up to circa £55,000 (Dependent on experience)

THE ROLE:
A new role has arisen for an experienced Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join a high regarded practice within their commercial team. The team covers the full remit of commercial law and as the appointed Commercial Solicitor you will be working with the partner along with other members of the team. The role is varied and you can expect to be gaining exposure to all types of commercial related matters including drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts as well as outsourcing agreements, supply and purchasing agreements and standard terms and conditions. In addition to commercial contract matters you will also potentially be gaining exposure to data protection and intellectual property matters.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Commercial Contract Solicitor will undertake a wide range of quality matters including advising on commercial contracts, outsourcing; projects, IT agreements, intellectual property and data protection. Ideally, they will have an interest in IP and IT and a willingness to get involved in a wide variety of work. Due to the experience level required by our client, it is expected that the appointed Commercial Contract Solicitor will have strong client management skills and be ready to hit the ground running, as they will be assigned a caseload from the outset. The existing team has a loyal client base and, therefore, to ensure these relationships are protected, the Commercial Contract Solicitor should be personable and have the ability to communicate with clients in the most clear and professional way possible.
