This full service firm has a real estate department which is recognised by the independent directories as one of the main players in the region.  

 

The firm is keen to build upon its success by the appointment of a further commercial property solicitor.

 

The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload of transactional work.  The department regularly acts on the sale and purchase of land for development, estate conveyancing and plot/flat sales, industrial and retail units, offices, hotels, pubs, care homes, agricultural land, all types of landlord and tenant work and re-financing of commercial property.

 

Recent projects include the sale of 300+ units on a mixed-use development and the acquisition of commercial re-development land valued in excess of £10 million.

 

The role is very much client facing and you will be able to demonstrate sharp commercial acumen by your ability to understand a client’s business and deliver commercially focused advice, assuming the role of trusted advisor.

 

The successful candidate will be confident in handling a varied caseload including:

 

·      Preparing/reviewing leases, sub-leases, assignments, RDDs, licence for alterations;

·      Negotiating commercial property leases through to completion;

·      Handling commercial property freehold and leasehold purchases and sales;

·      Advising on and drafting property documents for private acquisitions and sales and asset purchases and sales;
