A private practice law firm in Reading is seeking a Commercial Property Legal Director to join its established and successful team.
This is a rare and very exciting opportunity, and one which presents with genuine career progression as the firm goes through the process of succession planning.
The team is both flat in structure and collegiate. The role offers scope and autonomy. You will have the freedom to fully nurture the practice and its wealth of loyal clients which you will inherit to really make this role your own.
You will be working closely with three other Legal Directors in the practice to help grow the firm, stay on top of its day to day management and aid its continued success and well-respected reputation.
The role requires someone who is ambitious and enthusiastic with an entrepreneurial flare. In return, you will be rewarded not just in terms of remuneration but also recognition and a step up in your fee earning/management career.
You will ideally be a successful commercial property Solicitor with at least 8+ years' PQE Commercial Property experience, handling a broad diet of commercial property transactions.
The role will include:
Property Development transactions, acting for Developers and to include new build and plot sales
Commercial sales & purchases and commercial landlord & tenant matters
Commercial re-mortgaging and re-financing
Commercial Property advice, ownership and rights-of-way Leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions and right to manage
On occasion, the role will also include some HNW Residential Conveyancing sales & purchases, Leasehold and Freehold properties – properties in excess of £1.5million.
