The Role
We are now seeking a dynamic and personable Commercial Property Lawyer to join our client’s thriving practice based in Shrewsbury. Hitting the ground running with a diverse caseload, the successful Lawyer will manage all matters with minimal supervision to include: lease extensions and enfranchisement; licences for works or alterations; right to manage; acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties; drafting and negotiating leases and variations and; development projects. Additionally, the ideal Lawyer will become involved in business development and supervision of junior members of the team.

This is a great opportunity with exposure to complex, high value work for clients based across the country, offering a competitive salary package for the right Lawyer.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) with a minimum of three years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Commercial Property department.
Client focus and first class communication skills are essential.
Supervisory experience would be highly advantageous.
Expertise in contentious and non-contentious property work including Landlord and Tenant is a pre-requisite.
Strong I.T skills with experience in the use of MS Office and case management systems are essential.
An aptitude for business development is desirable along with a willingness to become involved in marketing activities.
