Commercial Litigation Laywer

A globally recognised pharmaceutical specialist experiencing rapid growth are seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyers to support thieir general counsel in the UK for a period of 12 months worknig on specific litigation matters valued in the £100m on a contract basis.

The Role:

As an experienced litigation lawyer you will work as part of a London based legal team advising the business in relation to all aspects of disclosures, written summaries, preparing Barristers and any other litigation work required. You will also be responsible for legal project work including agreeing contract terms with clients and suppliers, effectively balancing the contractual exposure of the business with the need to maintain good working relationships with counterparties. You will be expected to provide the business with advice in respect of legal pharma compliance and ethics risk areas as well as identify appropriate contractual mechanisms and solutions.

Requirements:

Credible hands on commercial private practice experience (city law firm experience is highly advantageous)

Excellent commercial litigation and communications skills 

A good understanding of forensic analysis

Proficient at working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
