The team

Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit Solicitors to the team which currently comprises of four lawyers ranging from Trainee Solicitor to Equity Partner. 

You will initially be based at our Chippenham office before moving across to the new offices early next year. 

The firm

Our Dispute Resolution and Litigation team forms part of our multi-faceted Commercial department who offer high quality legal services to businesses and individuals throughout Wiltshire and beyond. The Commercial department currently comprises of 12 lawyers, including a Professional Support Lawyer, and seven support staff across our six offices. 

Due to its success the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team, along with the wider Commercial department, will be moving to new fit for purpose office premises on the outskirts of Chippenham within the year so that it can continue to grow and develop.

The role

You will be required to develop the litigation work, client base and network of referrers and contacts as well as service the Firm's existing established client base. 

As part of the role you will assist with marketing the Firm in general with your focus being on the team and the wider Commercial department in particular. 

The team quite often houses one, if not two, Trainee Solicitors and part of this role will be to support their development.

Your qualities

It is essential that you have strong previous experience in Civil and Commercial Litigation and a basic knowledge of Insolvency Law, Planning Law and Professional Negligence is desirable but not essential. 

We are looking for an individual who has a professional approach with good client handling and care skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must have.
