Commercial Litigation Paralegal - growing team - Manchester - £25,000 - £33,000


Commercial Litigation Paralegal - This is a challenging, engaging and exciting opportunity to join a global firm with a different approach. The Manchester office of this leading practice is looking for an experienced commercial litigation paralegal who has either already gained management experience or who is keen to take their career to the next level and nurture their ability to lead teams and project manage large pieces of litigation.


  • Job title: Senior Commercial Litigation Paralegal
  • Location: Manchester
  • Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 (Depending on experience)
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Previous Experience: Minimum of 2 years commercial litigation experience from a reputable firm in the Manchester market. Will also consider relocators. Any management experience would be beneficial.


The team advises on a broad range of cases from breach of contract and shareholders disputes to complex financial disputes including international contentious matters.

Applicants for this position should therefore have a minimum of 2 years experience from a reputable commercial litigation team. You should know your way around the CPR and have a sound understand of the litigation process whether that be drafting statements of case, instructing counsel or advising on the more strategic elements of how to progress a case.

The role of the senior commercial litigation paralegal is to act as 'go-to' or useful point of reference for the more junior paralegals, who may require guidance at times. It is their responsibility to lead and to delegate work where appropriate.


This role is a route to other managerial roles within the firm. It is worth having in mind that candidates who have worked in this role in the past have progressed to team leader and management positions.
