This national firm known for its positive working culture is looking for a commercial litigation solicitor to join its expanding dispute resolution team in the Leeds office.

The Leeds office is a relatively new office for the firm, but has been growing well over the last couple of years, particularly in dispute resolution, where it has built up a 3-partner team of 10 lawyers in a market where other firms have struggled far more to attract the quality of commercial litigation lawyers you'll find in this team. They regularly attract lawyers from the top 6 in Leeds, as well as from top tier firms elsewhere.

They are now looking to recruit an Associate Solicitor to join the team. Applications are invited from solicitors who are 1-4 PQE across a broad range of commercial litigation areas including contractual and trade disputes, arbitrations & mediations, finance litigation, group actions, breach of restrictive covenants, partnership disputes and professional negligence. Solid academics and a good commercial litigation grounding within a recognised national or regional law firm, or in-house legal team, are a pre-requisite.

With a wealth of talent within the team, there will be plenty of support to build on your technical skills and develop professionally. You will run your own caseload of more straightforward matters, as well as working as part of a team or directly for a partner on chunkier and more complex or challenging matters, taking on responsibility for larger matters as you continue to develop your skills. This is a team where people work well together, and are supported on their journey.

The firm offers high market rate salary packages that rival those offered in the top tier, but with more realistic demands.
