Description

An excellent opportunity for a 2 - 5 year PQE Commercial Dispute Resolution Associate to join a high calibre team made up of 3 Partners (ex Squires, DLA Piper and Walker Morris), senior and junior lawyers, NQs, trainees and paralegals.

The past and continued growth of the team (and the firm) outstrips that of others in our market, with regional, national and international client wins over the last 12/24 months. This growth in technology, outsourcing and energy disputes and across the board is reflected in recent recruitments from Clifford Chance and Walker Morris and strong Litigation and IT directory rankings.

Experience required

Responsibilities:

* Own case-load and client contact time;

* Helping partners on larger cases; and

* Focus on business development and building own contacts, client-base and skills.

Candidates will ideally have some experience of:

* Technology-related dispute resolution work – Clarion has established a reputation

* advising both large corporate and public-sector clients on business-critical IT;

* Outsourcing and logistics issues advising on fundamentally important matters for

* our client in sectors such as sport, healthcare, education and training;

* Shareholder/Corporate/Partnership/JV disputes – extensive experience needed of

* shareholder disputes and post M&A warranty/indemnity claims including group

* actions for and against major PLCs;

* Judicial review, procurement challenges and follow-on damages claims – acting

* for businesses;

* Large-scale, multi-million contract dispute claims in manufacturing, retail and

* other core sectors; and/or

* International work and the chance to assist in developing that specialism particularly in Energy and Oil & Gas.

This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, with one hour for lunch.
