£55-60 per hour

Remote working, however willingness to attend the office infrequently is desirable

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a small and friendly team in a local authority within the West Midlands, on a locum basis. The role is initially for 3 months, pending permanent appointment, however there is a possibility for this to be extended.

The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will have previous local authority experience undertaking a range of commercial matters. Day to day responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer will include:

• Providing legal advice in relation to contractual matters
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and amending commercial contracts
• Routine contractual and procurement work
• Complex matters

This is a great opportunity for somebody who already has some solid experience looking to progress in their career. Previous public sector experience is desirable, although experianced gained from Private Practice or other sectors are still encouraged to apply.
