Clarion’s commercial, IT, privacy and Energy team provide business advice and work on transactions for a wide variety of clients ranging from international businesses and PLCs to local owner managed businesses.

Our lawyers deliver business-friendly and pragmatic advice and we anticipate that from an early stage the successful candidate will interact with clients, get to know clients’ businesses and start to build relationships.

Working with a wide variety of clients the candidate will, with appropriate support and supervision, be responsible for managing their own matters which will include outsourcing, distribution, franchise, agency and supply of goods and services, as well as advice relating to data protection, consumer regulations, anti-bribery, modern slavery and other wide ranging commercial issues.

Experience required

* 4-6 years PQE (although similar PQES will be considered) with experience from a national firm or recognised regional commercial practice;
* Experience of taking responsibility for your own matters;
* High degree of commercial thinking;
* Excellent organisational skills;
* Ability to work calmly under pressure;
* Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contacts and internal colleagues;
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with excellent attention to detail;
* High degree of motivation.

Other information

This role reports to a Commercial Partner.

This is a full time, permanent role with working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, with one hour for lunch.
