Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1 Year Contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor in Central London just a stone's throw away from London Bridge and St Pauls Cathedral. The candidate will join a department full of legal specialists working in a range of different sectors within law. They will be looking for the right candidate to join them on a 1 year contract with the chance of a permanent position in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Be proactive in keeping up to date with developments affecting the work at hand and maintain and improve personal competence through continuous professional development
  • Be proactive in keeping up to date with the firms wider activities and strategies
  • Operate within organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice; work collaboratively with staff across the association
  • Contribute to team meetings and organisational priorities, strategic goals and performance targets
  • Be flexible and carry out other associated duties that may arise

Requirements:

  • They will ideally be looking for someone 5 years PQE but all applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Clear verbal communication skills face to face and on the phone as well as good written literacy
  • The ability to give detailed and complex advice to clients in a clear and understandable format
