An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Expereinced or Junior Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in East of London on a Locum basis of 3-6 months with the view for extension. The council are offering fully remote working due to the current circumstances.

The childcare lawyer will be taking on daily tasks such as;

  • Handling a caseload of care proceedings
  • Lawyer case working
  • Judicial Reviews
  • Adoption
  • Emergency protection order
  • PLO matters
  • Casework base - Advocacy in the family, magistrates and crown court
  • Pre-Proceedings

A Childcare lawyer with local authority experience is highly preferable, however our client is willing to consider childcare lawyers from a private practice background with transferable skills. Ideally they would like someone who has an experience with a mixed caseload and advocacy but will consider those with transferable and relevant skills.

Our client is willing to look at a junior Childcare Lawyer with 1-2 years PQE.
