Change Manager


Reports to Group Head of Project Management.             


Pure Business Group:


Pure Business Group offers a full suite of Legal Services and is comprised of two ABS Law firms.  From Costs Drafting and Recovery, Litigation Funding Provisions, Claims Management Operations, Claims Handling Services, IT Services to the insurance Industry and Sports Management Business.  The structure of training and implantation of talent pipelines enables Pure to promote from within.


Job Description:


PURE Business Group are looking for a change coordinator.

This person will assist in ensuring projects, change and process improvements meet the objectives of PURE, on time and on budget.

Excellent listening skills will be essential and the ability to take instruction on what the main goal of a process improvement or change is.

The Change Coordinator will support and assist the team through keeping the team aware and up to date on all impending changes and process improvements which will affect them.

The ability to communicate and maintain good lines of communication is vital. It is essential that the right person is able to work on their own initiative but at the same time, the relevant people in the business need to be kept updated and this will be part of the Coordinators role.

The Change Coordinator will be assisting heavily in creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage.

The change Coordinator will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees and possibly our Panel Firm clients.

This person will have to work with many others in the PBG to succeed.

The Change Coordinator will also support project teams in integrating change management activities (approved by the Board) into the project plans.


Roles and responsibilities:


Assist in developing and applying a structured methodology to impending change at PURE Business Group.

Apply the change management process and tools when there is a project bringing about change within PURE Business Group.

Support communication efforts throughout the Group.

Identify any risks and prepare risk mitigation tactics to reduce the likelihood of a risk becoming an issue.

Work with the Group Head of Project Management to integrate change management activities (approved by PURE Business Group’s Board of Directors) into project plans.

Evaluate and ensure user readiness.

Track and report issues immediately.

Monitor change progress.

Develop a register of Change which will record change and include a lessons learned element which will be utilised to develop how Change is developed at PURE Business Group as we grow and move forward.





You will assist in I.T related projects, change and process improvements. Particularly in the coordinating of the testing of completed work flows. You will be expected to feed back to the I.T Directors or their appointed delegates during with regards testing.



Skills and qualifications:

A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent listening skills.

Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Ability to positively influence others and move toward a common vision or goal (the change).

Flexible and adaptable.

Able to work in ambiguous situations.


Forward looking with a holistic and positive approach.

Able to see the bigger picture.

Organized with a natural inclination for planning, strategy and tactics.

Excellent problem solving and root cause identification skills.

Able to work effectively at all levels in the Group.

Must be a team player.

Understanding of organisational issues and challenges.

Familiarity with project management approaches, particularly that of the PBG PM methodology (which will be taught).

Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts.
