ILLUMINATING IMMIGRATION SOLICITOR (2-6PQE)

Legal Works are seeking to recruit an immigration solicitor (2-6PQE) to work in the London office of this well-respected and developing boutique practice.
To be successful YOU will be working as an associate at a firm or team that are well regarded in the business immigration sector.
It may be that YOU are experiencing "progression issues" at your current firm meaning that the path to partnership is unclear or partnership itself is not available and so are looking for this kind of opportunity elsewhere.
ROLE
YOU will be experienced in advising on all forms of business immigration into the UK.
Specific areas of experience include:
* Sponsorship licenses for workers
* Visas for investors/entrepreneurs
* Understanding what activities business visitors to the UK are permitted to do
* Advising on appropriate record keeping and monitoring processes
* Applications for extension of stay and settlement
* Advising on immigration issues to be aware of on setting up business in the UK
* Visas for dependants and overseas entry clearance applications
* Dealing with migrants after a takeover or merger
* Assisting with large scale audits in the workplace
* Applications for reconsideration of negative decisions and dealing with workplace raids
YOU
YOU will be someone who is going to thrive and relish's the opportunity to build a practice in the London office and to make the most of the considerable potential which exists within the firm.
YOU will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a "self-starter", as such business development and networking skills are just as important as technical ability. Some form of client following would obviously help to demonstrate these skills, particularly if you are at or closer to 6PQE.
