Thompsons Solicitors is looking for an excellent Billing Clerk – if you are reliable, organised and have high levels of accuracy, this is the opportunity for you!
The appointed Billing Clerk will be an integral part of a busy team, providing a proactive, professional and high quality administrative support service to lawyers and support staff across the Sheffield office. We are looking for a conscientious individual, who can work off their own initiative and is always willing to learn. If you are enthusiastic and dependable, with great communication and time management skills, as well as excellent attention to detail, then this could be an ideal role for you.
This is an exciting and varied role, covering a wide range of billing tasks including processing cheques, chasing agreed costs and damages, logging court post and diarising directions and hearing dates, ensuring copy fee notes are attached to all bills in readiness for signature and service and preparing part 8 proceeding for issue in cost-only proceedings. The appointed Billing Clerk will have previous experience of working within an office environment, be computer literate and confident on the telephone, drafting relevant correspondence including emails and performing data input tasks. We are looking for a strong team player, with outstanding administrative skills and a proven ability to work pro-actively.
