We are working on a new senior finance role, but within a smaller firm where someone looking for excellent quality work but without the hours or politics of a large national can thrive. I hope you don't mind me passing some details across to ask.
This firm have a very strong banking team across Manchester and Liverpool, with a particular strength in asset finance, asset based lending and invoice finance work. The Partners are recognised in this market for their strength in this work, acting for a regional and national client base. Turnover in the team is significant and the pipeline of work continues to grow year on year. Now, due to work levels and future planning at a senior level, they are looking for an experienced finance lawyer to join the team.
The ideal candidate may come from a broad banking background, or have a more specific skillset particularly in asset finance or asset based lending work, but the work is there and there is a clear opportunity for someone to move into a firm where there is absolute autonomy to make decisions, independence and an ability to do good quality work seamlessly outside the confines of a large national.
Because there is a need for the Partners to pass work, an individual must have a strong finance background and be confident running with a caseload, but outside of that there is a huge opportunity - either someone simply looking to do good quality work in a sensible environment, or an individual looking for Partnership themselves either immediately or in the near future - the opportunity is very much open for discussion based on individual level and expertise.
