Job Summary:

Working as part of a high-performing team, the new recruit will advise local and international clients on a diverse range of corporate matters.

Principal responsibilities:

The new recruit will play a pivotal role in a variety of deals including but not limited to:

Advising on M&A activity including share and business acquisitions and disposals.

Advising on Capital Markets.

Advising on company reorganisations.

Advising on shareholders' agreements.

Advising on corporate structures.

Advising on general corporate law matters.

The new recruit will also be responsible for:

Project managing smaller scale transactions.

Pro-active participation in marketing initiatives.

Participating in firm-wide and departmental training sessions.

Person specification:

The firm has a Career Development Framework which sets out the competencies we expect of those at the Associate grade. In particular for this role we require:

Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files, with minimal supervision;

Strong client focus and a commitment to service delivery;

Excellent drafting skills;

Drive and enthusiasm;

Commercial awareness;

Credibility; and

Flexibility and can do attitude.

Experience and qualifications required:

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years pqe

Directly relevant post-qualification experience gained at a recognised and busy corporate practice
