Following significant growth to date and further projected growth, we now have a new role for a contentious construction, projects and infrastructure associate to join our market leading specialist team, which sits within the firm's wider Litigation & Regulatory practice group.


The key focus of the role will be on domestic and international PFI/PPP disputes. Acting for a diverse client and sector base, the successful candidate will gain direct experience in all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of high quality highly complex disputes in the PFI/PPP sector. The role will be based in our London office, but will also require frequent travel throughout the UK and to our international offices.


Solicitor or barrister, ideally qualified in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction

Strong academics

Whilst we do not set firm upper or lower PQE requirements for any of our vacancies, we anticipate a minimum of 4 years' fee earning experience within a leading construction litigation team will be necessary to fulfil the technical requirements of the role

Well-developed professional and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and legal technical skills

Ability to work in a team environment and develop internal and external client relationships

Organised, with an ability to manage projects and a proven track record of working for infrastructure investment funds and managing risk mitigation strategies on invested projects (desirable)

Proactive and innovative

Appreciation of the issues that are key for clients within the sector

Good knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office
