The department

The Real Estate Investment Team at Birketts LLP acts for leading investment managers and institutional investors on the acquisition, disposal, funding, leasing and asset management of investment fund portfolios across the industrial, logistics, office and retail sectors.

The team has extensive experience of dealing with high-value portfolios across the UK on behalf of some of the most respected and prestigious real estate investors globally.

The Legal 500 (UK 2019) notes that Birketts LLP is “among the best firms for this type of work due to its speed of execution” and “The standard of work and competence is superior to other firms”. The depth and scale of the team allows it to respond quickly to even the largest and most high-value transactions and clients have noted the team’s “exceptional performance”.

The candidate

A solicitor with 1 + years' experience gained within a well regarded city, regional or national firm with a sound knowledge in all areas of commercial property law and a particular bias towards real estate investment work.

He/she would be expected to play an active role in marketing and practice development as well as providing a high level of service to existing clients.

Competitive salary (dependent on experience/ability) and benefits including pension scheme, private medical insurance, permanent health insurance, life assurance, bonus scheme, holiday from 25 days, cycle to work scheme and childcare vouchers.
