Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – L&D will support the L& D Manager in improving the productivity and in increasing the skills of the Firm’s employees. This position help assess the overall learning and career development needs to drive learning initiatives through identified suitable training solutions for all levels of employees.

In addition, this role will also support the successful completion of deliverables assigned to L&D

Duties and Accountabilities1

* Formulate the training plan based on the overall strategic plan of White & Case Manila

* GOC and Global L&D as approved by the Director and HR Head

* Track budgets and negotiate contracts

* Recommend (buy or build) effective formal or informal employee learning opportunities utilizing various modalities such as but not limited to Instructor-led training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-led training (VILT), e-learning, collaborative learning, etc.

* Work on the successful completion of deliverables assigned to L&D in collaboration with but not limited to Business Development Manila, Customer Experience Council and other ad hoc projects which maybe assigned by the Office of the Director and HR Senior Manager

* Establish, develop, and maintain partnership with the Department Heads and their service leaders

* Conduct new hire onboarding training

* Analyze organizational L&D needs through employee surveys, assessment of competency gaps or performance metrics

* Develop, build or create L&D curriculum based on the needs identified

* Develop, build or create L&D curriculum aligned to the competency framework of the firm

* Facilitate and deliver trainings to leadership, managers, supervisor and staff level

* Design and deliver courses, workshops and other trainings

* Drive adoption of, and implement various learning methods including classroom, e learning and new age innovative technology driven learning methodologies

* Measure effectiveness and outcome of internal training solutions

* Measure effectiveness and outcome of training spends to justify ROI

* Execute learning strategies and programs

Qualifications

* At least 7 years of Training and Delivery experience in a BPO or Shared Services industry.

* OD experience is a plus but not required

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Instructional Design and experience on design and development of content

* Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices & excellent training classroom facilitation skills

* Experience in project management and budgeting

* Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

* Ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders

* Stakeholder Management for internal and external stakeholders

* Time Management, prioritization and organization

* Ability to prepare training scorecards, manual information tracking system and L&D data analyses

Location & Reporting

* Manila, Philippines

* This role will directly report to L&D Manager and Senior Manager – HR
