This multi-accredited firm is seeking a legal assistant to join their conveyancing team in Brighton.
Our client is looking to recruit a confident and professional paralegal to support a busy team with all conveyancing transactions from instruction through to exchange. The successful assistant will have at least one year’s experience within a law firm and have the ability to work on their own initiative. Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners specialising in conveyancing
- Opening, closing and archiving files
- AML compliance
- Exchange formalities
- Post completion
- Producing invoices or expenses documentation
- Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
- File management
- General administration
- Use of case management systems
- Paralegals with a minimum of one year’s experience within a similar position
- Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills across all levels
- Commercially aware and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent client care
- Highly organised
- Personable, professional and detail orientated
