Role – Conveyancing Administrator / Assistant / Secretarial person

Location – Northampton

Salary – £16K - £18K – dependent on experience

 

Our Client is a growing Residential Conveyancing Firm in Northampton with associate offices in Peterborough, Manchester and London. Due to their continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Administrator / Assistant Secretarial person working in Northampton within their property department. Whilst working on a high volume of Conveyancing work this is a smaller organisation providing a much more personalised working environment.

 

You will be joining to assist a busy conveyancing team.

 

You MUST HAVE experience of the Conveyancing process in some capacity and be comfortable working in a small team and adaptable to the changing requirements of the team and their Clients. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Administering Client ID and Anti Money Laundering checks
  • Issuing Sale Contracts
  • Issuing Exchange and Completion letters
  • Chase up Clients and third parties – (ie Solicitors, Estate Agents, etc.) – with regards to returning necessary paperwork or phone calls
  • Other general administrative tasks within the team

 

 

You will have the following skills / experience:

  • Excellent Organisation skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Basic conveyancing process
  • Fantastic attention to detail especially when under pressure
  • Superb communication both written and verbal

 

OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO TAKE UP THIS ROLE AND PROVIDE THE BEST ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT THEY CAN AND USE THEIR INITIATIVE TO SUGGEST ANY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PROCESS AND THEY WANT THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON TO BE SOMEONE WHO IS KEEN TO REMAIN IN THIS TYPE OF ROLE AS OPPOSED TO SOEMONE WHO IS KEEN TO USE THIS ROLE AS A STEP TO BECOMIN A CASEHANDLER, ETC.
