Key Responsibilities and Criteria:
• main duties: filing, faxing, photocopying, preparation of bundles, opening and closing files on computer databases, contacting clients by telephone to arrange appointments and take basic instructions
• excellent attention to detail
• confidence in liaising with senior colleagues regarding requests
• accuracy and efficiency
• good standard of education including 5 GCSEs/O Level at Grade C or above (to include English and Mathematics)
• good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems would be an advantage.
• Basic casework duties and client contact

Our current specialisms cover advisory work and litigation disputes in the areas of judicial review, community care, Court of Protection health and welfare, education and professional discipline fields. We have forged a national reputation for work on test cases. Our work regularly receives considerable media attention and produces reported legal judgements. We have a national reach.

We hold Legal Aid Agency contracts in public law and community care law and are also instructed by privately funded individuals, businesses, professional associations and institutions including national and local charities and other voluntary organisations.

We have public law teams in Cambridge, Birmingham, Bristol, London, and Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield and an enviable reputation as leaders in the field.

If you’re a self-motivated Administrator, looking for an important role then we’d like to hear from you.
